About Gunners Place
Gunners Place is a vibrant youth and community space dedicated to the Gungahlin community. Our space is modern, comfortable, and engaging and is used for youth activities and community hire.We are a consortium of Northside Community Service, Multicultural Hub Canberra, and Relationships Australia Canberra & Region. Each partner has a dedicated day to provide programs and activities for their communities in Gungahlin.
Our Programs
Drop-In Service
Our partners collaboratively host a regular, welcoming youth drop-in program designed to provide local young people with a safe space to hang out, connect, and relax.The drop-in is staffed by friendly and approachable youth workers who are happy to talk, hang out, and support young people aged 12 to 25.🕒 Wednesdays: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
🕒 First Friday of each month: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM(Please note that drop-in only runs during the school term)
School Holiday Programs
We also host free, structured school holiday programs at Gunners Place to provide local young people with skills, entertainment, and social connection during the breaks.The program is open to all young people aged 12 to 25 years old and is free of charge.
